Research Scientist at Intel
Jamie Sherman is a cultural anthropologist (Ph.D. Princeton, 2011), research scientist, and User Experience Lead for Gaming at Intel Corporation where her work is used to shape strategy and product development. Her research background is in gender, race, play, and the body. Since joining Intel in 2012, her she has published and spoken publicly on diverse topics from quantified self, to live motion capture projection and immersive media creation. As part of her work on video game players, she has lead efforts to understand the role, impact, and dynamics of toxicity and harassment in gaming and online more broadly.
